TOWC CrimeWatch app.png

IMPORTANT: This app is NOT a replacement for 911. If there's danger or an emergency, CALL 911!!!

Our Goal

The Town of Williams Creek is looking for unique ways to communicate, prevent and respond to criminal activity. Our goal is to bridge the communication gap between the residents and the Town Marshal and Deputies.  Why not leverage the power of our mobile devices to create another way to connect?  While our Town has an agreement with the Town of Meridian Hills to share patrols, Meridian Hills is NOT PARTICIPATING in CrimeWatch at this time.

Our officers will be linked directly to our community through the CrimeWatch mobile application. Each day-shift Town officer will monitor residents' requests as they happen (live). If you send in a report during the evening or night hours, the Town Marshall or Deputy will respond the next day.  Remember, if it is an emergency, 911 must be called. It is not our goal for the application to replace dispatch, only enhance it.  There is even a shortcut to call 911 built in the app.

Installing and Using the App

In under 5 minutes, you can install the app and create an account. It even remembers your password so you don't have to login every time!

Step 1. Get the app.

Note: Downloading and using the app, like many other smartphone apps, uses data.

Step 2. Create an account.

If you don't already have an account, click the Create Account button and fill in the form. You'll receive a message your account has been created. Then, login and you'll be presented with the Report Incident page.  If you have an account, simply login with your username and password.

Step 3. Report activity.

Hard part's over. Now, do the following:

Report Incident - Incident Types List.png
  1. Select the type of incident
  2. Enter where it occurred, or tap "Get from GPS" and it will be filled in automatically
  3. Enter the details of what happened; if you're unsure how to use this, tap the Help icon on the bottom left
  4. Attach an optional photo by tapping the camera icon; you can remove the photo by tapping it again
  5. Tap the checkmark to submit the incident

That's It! But what happens next?

Once you have reported your concern, the information is kept in our internal system and delivered to the officer on patrol during the day shift.  You will receive an email response when an officer has looked into your incident.  The officers in Meridian Hills are not participating at this time.
